Ariana Bignotti
Executive Lead Research Assistant
Ariana is a third-year law student who is from Reading, PA. She earned B.S. degrees in Labor and Employment Relations and Political Science from the Schreyer Honors College of the Pennsylvania State University. As a law student, she serves as the Executive Symposium Editor for the Penn State Dickinson Law Review and an academic tutor for property law. Following graduation, Ariana hopes to work in the employee benefits space. In her free time, Ariana enjoys cooking, hot yoga, and watching Philadelphia sports.
Max Bailis
Research Assistant
Max is a second-year law student from Telluride, Colorado. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Socio-legal Studies from the University of Denver. His experiences living in rural Colorado and later in Missoula, Montana led to an interest in energy and environmental law. He will be serving as the secretary for the environmental law society. In addition to being a research assistant for Professor Prince, he will also be conducting research for Professor Hannah Wiseman regarding electrical grid reliability. His interests include reading, researching and learning about niche subjects, and spending time with his wife and two cats, Piglet and Gromit.
Ishana Bandyopadhyay
Research Assistant
Ishana is a second-year law student from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Prior to law school, Ishana graduated summa cum laude in December 2024 from George Washington University in Washington, DC, where she studied political science with minors in criminal justice and journalism & mass communications. Ishana’s legal interest comes from her previous role as a paralegal at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in DC, however she is also interested in civil and corporate law. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and cooking new recipes.
Nicole Bassa Silfa
Lead Research Assistant
Nicole is a third-year law student born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in Politics, Government, and Law with a concentration in Law and Public Policy, along with double minors in Criminal Justice and Philosophy at Arcadia University. As a law student, Nicole served as a research assistant for Professor Sarah J. Williams focusing on securities fraud and currently serves as a BARBRI representative, a Treasurer of the Native American Law Students Association, and Secretary of the Latinx Law Student Association. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.

Lexi Davies is a third-year law student.
Isis Johnson
Research Assistant
Isis is a second-year law student from Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from Howard University in Washington, DC with a B.S. in Political Science. Isis worked in Personal Finance before attending Penn State Dickinson Law. She serves as the President of the Black Law Student Association for the Carlisle campus. In her free time, Isis enjoys training for races and making jewelry.

J.J. is a third-year law student with a solid foundation in business and real estate. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Rollins College. His professional experience includes roles as a judicial intern, financial analyst, and licensed real estate agent, with a primary focus on commercial transactions and client relationship development. J.J.’s academic and professional interests include business law, sports law, real estate, and politics.

Jack is a third-year law student from Denver, CO. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). Jack currently serves as Vice Justice for Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, as an Associate Editor for the Dickinson Law Review, and as the Pennsylvania Large Law Firm Committee Liaison. His academic and professional interests include business and tax law, as well as politics.
